Our History & Experience with the Lockheed C-130

B & G Industries Aircraft Operations specializes in the maintenance and structural repair of a variety of aircraft, the C-130 Hercules is one of those aircraft. The maintenance and inspection technicians employed by B & G Industries have conducted C-130 maintenance operations at the South Big Horn County Airport, as well as many other locations, for more than 25 years.

As an FAA certified Repair Station, the Federal Aviation Administration has approved
B & G Industries’ maintenance and inspection procedures for use on civilian aircraft and falling within those capabilities is the ability to perform maintenance, structural repairs, and fabrication of C-130 components. Having assisted Lear Siegler as a sub-contractor on numerous government projects, Lear Siegler nominated B & G Industries for the Department of Defense Mentor-Protégé program. This nomination resulted in B & G Industries’ acceptance and successful completion of the program, leading to B & G Industries becoming a prime contractor.

B & G INDUSTRIES, LLC. C-130 CAPABILITIES

B & G Industries has performed extensive C-130 maintenance ranging from simple repairs to being the Prime contractor for a US Air Force contract to install Aircraft Dual Rails Air Delivery Systems on selected Special Operations C-130 aircraft. To accomplish this B & G possesses a wide array of specialized support equipment, tooling, and fixture to support many structural repairs, engine and propeller replacement, and routine maintenance. The tools and specialized equipment required to maintain C-130 aircraft are available to the maintenance staff of B & G Industries, eliminating the need to rely on outside vendors for assistance. This equipment is also available for lease to other maintenance providers.

The facilities from which B & G Industries conducts operations are located at the South Big Horn County airport (KGEY) in Greybull Wyoming. With B & G’s large hanger, 7000 feet of runway and large ramp there is more than enough room for C-130 operations and maintenance in Greybull.
